With regards to the stampede tragedy at Koh Pich on Novermber 22nd 2010,as Cambodian youths, we would like to express their deepest condolences to the victims and offer help by organizing a nation-wide fund-raiser from 23rd to 25th November.
Around 456 people were killed and 755 injured in the Monday night’s incident, a tragic end to Water Festival, Cambodia’s biggest annual celebration. A condolence procession/marchwill be held on 25th November from Independence Monument to Koh Pich, starting at 5:00pm.
Donations, which will be distributed to the victims and their family, are accepted through representatives of the 10 universities* in Phnom Penh. Your help will be an invaluable asset to 22/11’s victims. We shall remember 25th November as a great loss to our whole nation.
